Bara wins 17th Tipsport Tournament of Club Champions’

The second weekend in October in Konopiště traditionally belongs to the Tipsport Tournament of Club Champions’. The two-day tournament was played in sunny weather, although both days were affected by the usual October problems, especially on Saturday, when fog delayed the start of the tournament by 90 minutes. But it had no effect on the players' performances.

Our Academy member Barbora Šindelářová certainly enjoyed the cooler conditions. Her first round score of 75 shots included 4 3-putts but Sunday brought a much improved performance on the greens. Her even-par round of 72 shots gave her an overall winning total of 145 (+3). In second place was home favourite Alina Shchepteva with a score of 148 (+6), while the third place was taken by Silvie Dittertová (+9).

So, after a break of 15 years, the Tournament of Czech Club Champions’ has been won by a player from the Austerlitz Golf Club.
